Flash from the past...
https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/d/clone-cutlass/6614437192.html

I'm kinda doubting he's gonna get $20k for it, but more power to him. Too bad he F'd it up with the flat black & the blacked out bumpers.

I could almost live with the flat black, but not the bumpers!

I thought really hard last night about contacting him and seeing if he would consider trading me straight accross for my Chevelle, if he would paint the Olds. He owns a body shop, so it would not cost him much to scuff the black and shoot it with a real color...

But alas- i can't do it. I've got the chevelle to a point now where it actually runs and drives better than the olds ever did. Wish i had gone with black seat covers instead of the gold, but I know a guy who can fix that for me.

Maybe i can siphen off enough cash from our house sale proceeds to get it wrapped.... Hmm

I saw 557 Dart heads, or was that cubic inches, no bracing that I saw on the housing. Looks nice, but I'm not sure how dated it is. I would not kick it out of the garage.....

I emailed this add.

Looks too good to be true.

We will see if they get back to me.

I have emailed several of these types of adds lately, and got zero replies.

I hate to admit that for the right deal, I may let it go. Only to the right guy at the right $. I need to follow its progress, I love it!
It’s a tough call, I want badly to finish and race it, but I cannot afford it right now. It’s not costing me anything either, but it’s really nagging me to get working on my model A. I want to get it going so my dad can cruise it once again while he’s still able, and sadly those days are limited I fear.

Or, I’ll do it this winter. Would just be very rewarding to run it at Bremerton the nostalgia event weekend.
