Reinstalled the rebuilt column for my crew cab. Found a used steering column seal in great shape at the local Pick-n-Pull to use when I put my column back in. Temporarily wired-up the truck to ensure all of the column functions were working properly. I also picked up a screw in the tread of my tire driving through the lot of Pick-n-Pull!

Stood and stared at it for a while... Contemplating doing bodywork on it. May do it again tonight. LOL.

Got my fans mounted to my custom fan shroud yesterday!  Still some wiring and routing work to do and I may possibly add some static pressure valves to it.  This is for the LS conversion in my '91 Crew Cab.  I have a 16" and a 12" Spal Fan.  I had to go to the 12" fan on the driver's side because of clearance issues with the power steering gear, power steering cooler, and hydraulic lines.  I will wire them up like GM did with 3 relays, so that they are two speed.  High speed should be about 3,500 CFM.  Should be more than enough cooling capacity with the 34" 4-core radiator.

Interested to hear how this works. I’ve been looking at the same system. Birdlegs wrote:
