Managed to get 27 holes in the firewall welded up and ground down over the weekend, only 5 or 6 left.
It's nice to be getting the a bunch of the mundane grunt work done, along with I'll finally get the dash/gauge assembly finished when I install the ARC system.

I took the '65 over to my buddies fab shop to have the trans tunnel repaired and make some modifications to the roll cage. Should be ready for next season soon.

Took the hood that I bought for my '91 Crew Cab over to Alternative Blasters in Marysville. Found out they are now Aerotech Blasters. Guy said they changed hands over 2 years ago, but I have been there in the last year and I sware it was still Alternative. Seemed pretty quiet over there. Maybe it was just the day and time, but every time I have been there it has been a buzz of activity. The office was pretty bare bones too!

Yes & yes.
I am currently looking for a very clean 55-210 two door post. My plans are an art Morrison chassis with the pro street rear option and a centrifical a supercharged big block with a 5-speed.

I just never have the time to go race anymore and at that level you really have to have two or three dedicated guys to go with you and help. I could have put it back on the street by putting a new Block in it but I never really fit the car well and to me the most fun is the build.

Nope!  Seemed to work perfectly!  Track prep wasn't the best and I'll have to get used to the car again.

Very good, if I ever get something to actually move on it's own again, I have one setup for the street, and one for the track.

I never realized how much difference there is in the 66-67 front end/fenders. Or is it just the picture, and bumpers?

He was killing it last weekend going five rounds I think? Started raining in the semis. Went to round three today and went red, it’s running great though!
