Nice!  Is that 70 El Camino of Mullet Dan’s getting close to being done yet?  My Camaro is supposedly in line after it….probably go in this fall.

I didn't get a chance to look at the elco last week as the principal was on a mission so I was just in & out. I do know it wasn't in color yet though.

Elco wasn't in color as of Friday.
I did pick up my interior trim though.

Thanks for the info, sounds like it’s getting close though.  I got my driver side rear window channels from Belden Speed last week, those were the last pieces of metal I wanted to make sure I had for them.

I had a couple “limited traction events” in the chevelle today but no pics. I did hand crank start my Landcruiser just to see if I could. Took video of that and realized I’m getting fat. I’m sure the Holley Sniper helps the east start.

I had driven it about 2 hours earlier. So not cold start for sure.

Took Brandon to the big show Saturday with the car, Eric Waugh saw me and we chatted for a minute by the Nitro car startup area.  Busy there this year, made a full loop finding a parking spot.  Got home and finally cut off the tailpipe exhaust U-bolt ends that’ve been squeaking against the frame for awhile and driving me nuts, and finally fixed the loose passenger side mirror(used a spring loaded center punch on the ball in multiple places to tighten the gap all around).  I need to buy a cerium oxide polishing kit and get some scratches out of the rear window.

Had some time today to set timing and play with carb settings now that the timing doesn’t jump around. Squirters didn’t make any difference in my off idle stumble before but now, WOW!  Went from 31 to 35 in the front and this thing is a monster! Zero hesitation and even less traction! Need to make a vacuum advance stop plate and for some reason my tach quit after about 5 miles, but driveability and fun went way up.

I resealed the rear window. Last time I used the butyl rope and it always leaked in the corners. This time I used urethane.
