(Pair) Dirty Dingo "Double D" engine mount adapters $90

(Pair) Energy Suspension engine mounts P/N 3-1114R $75

1) Dorman power steering pulley P/N 300-123 $40

1) Gates surpentine belt for smaller dia. pulley P/N K060910 $28

Needs a supercharger. I bet it would fit under the SS hood

I still need a lot of stuff to make it go down the road, which will take a while as I'm still not working. I sold a firearm to get the wheels coming, will sell another to fund the tires. It make take several months to progress after that. The sale of that rolling chassis will pay for the computer re-flash, then it's on to the Portland swap meet to raise some cash for the wiring harness and fuel system. I have the driveline from my tans trade with Kevin years ago, it will get cut down to go behind the 4L80.

I do too, just a little bit sad at the same time. Nothing is cooler than a pro street big block '66! Maybe with the exception of an early 40's Willys. The idea of a ratty sounding '69 just isn't the same in my mind, maybe because mine is very pedestrian looking or tame. At the end of the day, I don't have anything to complain about, and if making the '66 more road friendly will get the wife out in it with me, then that's what I want to do!

a wife on your side is a good thing!
with the street manners of the LS, I can see her taking more than an interest in the 66 Mike....such as taking the keys!!! "See ya sweetie!"

every now and then (early 90s) when I had the 85 Vette and I was working on the 68 Vette, Gloria would come out then say see ya! and off for errands in the bright silver 85.
I've actually mentioned/chatted with Mason about LS and such for the 68 Vette, make it more road worthy. But without power seats and 4" of necessary lift, Gloria would have trouble seeing over the generous wheel bulges on the 68, not to mention the hood

Ordered the computer, PCM mounting bracket, and wiring harness from PSI Conversions this afternoon. I will finish researching fuel tank and pump options over the weekend and will order the system on Monday.
