Need to figure out trans cooler fittings, yolk, and cross member. I think I can use my factory cross member, but it will be tight because it's got to slide back against the body mount gussets in the frame. I will cut out about 2/3rds of the back of the tunnel. If I can put the tailhousing in above the crossmember, then the front up to the engine. That's the only way the crossmember will fit.

Oil cooler line fittings ordered, trans mount ordered, tunnel cut out of the floor, cheap eBay stainless headers are in, but need to buy the studs still.

Trans is in, headers fit with some minor bashing. Now that the engine is nearly level though, the inner tie rods hit the pan, bad on the passenger side :(

It bolted up to the crossmember like it was built for it!

Last time I drove it was when we took the picture of mine, Kevin's, and TOG's '66s together at Bremerton. I think about 7 years ago?

I've owned it since '98 and have put maybe 2000 miles on it since then.

Not sure. I have a lot of time consuming things to finish up and that's the most difficult thing to find, the time. I'm trying to put in an hour or two whenever I can though, was hoping for this summer but it's looking like fall/winter. Boat racing for me really starts in a couple weeks and a long family vacation mid Aug will put it on hold for a while. I'm not in a rush though, don't want to set any dates to have it going. I have two other projects here of someone else's I'm working on too, one of which should be leaving here next weekend.

Didn't have much time tonight, but got the car back on the lift and got the old fuel tank out. The Vaporworx tank came with new bolts and straps, but no rubber insulation strips for the top of the tank. I'll pick up something for that and get it in by this weekend. On a little bit of a downer, looks like the driveline guy got my order mixed up and it got balanced and new U-joints installed that I didn't ask for and didn't get shortened! I'll be taking it back Wednesday I guess.

Supposed to get it back after work this Monday. Need to get a couple strips of rubber to put on top of the new fuel tank where it sits against the trunk supports and I can put the fancy Vaporworx tank in for good!

Driveline is bolted up, now messing with the ebrake cable routing. I seem to have lost the torque converter bolts, will have to order them this week. There wont be much progress for a month or so, boat races and a family camping/road trip to the CA redwoods will take most of Aug.
