Just saying howdy.

Over here by Spokane.

Working on my 4th 66 Chevelle, only have 1 at this time.

Trying to scratch up the funds to purchase Mr. Bob's 65 Chevelle for my wife.

L8R,

Stu

If you get it, might have to schedule a TCNW get together so you can meet some of the guys. I'm a hop, skip, and a jump from Bob.

Sounds good.
FWIW, I graduated from Mountlake Terrace Senior High (seem like a lifetime ago).
My wife is from Tacoma (her folks still live there).
Lived in Granite Falls where I was a volunteer Fire Fighter for 2.5 years.
Been in the Spokane area since 1999

Any of you guys coming over for the Good Guys Show @ the Spokane Fairgrounds ?
With any luck that will be the first show I put my 66 Malibu in.

L8R,
Stu

Welcome. Did I see a thread on your car and the trip to get it on TC? It certainly looks nice.

Nice! Glad you made it over here. Been in a mad dash to get this El Camino done and I just hit a brick wall that exploded in my face. Furnace went out at my rental home back in KC. Theres $5000 in the shitter! Yours might be the only a-body at the event trailer in Spokane. :/ Well at least I hope yours gets done by then!

Ha, I was wondering if you were over here Brian.
I'm going to try and get the 66 Chevelle over to Bremerton this summer for some Auto Cross also.
I really want to see how the Detroit Speed Kit #2 handles with some power behind it finally.

Yeah eager to hear how the Detroit Speed kit works out. There's still time for me to change my mind, but I'm 99% sure I'll go with Ride Tech's coil over kit for mine.

Lots of nice folks here. Watch out for Ben though. That's a picture of me and him ridin bikes in my avatar. I'm the slimmer, good looking one.

Thanks guys,
Rick… I graduated 1985 from MLT

Spent most of my time in Mr. C's auto shop.

Trying to think of classmates that had older siblings…… Mohs girls, Haukap brothers ?

Safe to say your not Rick Mayor ? Rick's brother Harry does/did transmissions.

I know the mayer brothers. Rick did my first set of heads for my 283 for me. Harry's 67 was always my dream car, or was that Ricks? Chris Cannon ring a bell? Chris and I are still tight and I see him and his family alot. Him and his two kids run the Div6 tour. SuperGas and SuperStreet for the kids.

Do you remember Ron Duranceaus blue 68 SS 396 Chevelle or Blair walthews 69 ss 396 camaro in Mr C's shop? I spent more time in carlsons auto shop working on ronny's chevelle than i did in coultass' wood shop where i was supposed to be. Im sure we brushed elbows at some point there. I know the haukaps, Mohs, sacketts, etc... the old St Pius crew! My last name is Monahan. Blair Benshoof was my best friend bobs sister that is your age and class. My brother Sean graduated there in 87. I bought my Red 67 my senior year.

My cousins over there in Spokane. He turns n burns muscle cars that need paint and body work.

Was/is John Cannon Chris's younger brother ? He was a year or two below me.
Yes that 67 SS Chevelle was Harry's, running a small block back in the day.
I don't remember Rons Chevelle, but I definitely remember Blairs 69 SS. I knew his younger brother Wade.
Holy $hit… yes I went to St. Pius X also, with all the Sacketts.

Do you recognize this Chevelle ? It was the car I drove home from Ft. Benning after I was discharged.

Ran around that area till about 1990 and sold it to a guy by the name of Arvel(sp) in Seattle… never saw it again.

Ha! John Cannon is my landlords brother. Paula Cannon married John Bryson, both of them lived with me when they got pregnant and their parents werent too happy with them. Small world. ;) I knew blair and wade very well. Played baseball for Mr Sackett for years. We hung out at their place alot and they hung out at my folks house alot too.
