He came on Sunday and must've thought about it too much since no banking could be done that day. Yup, keeping the deposit unless the bank allo2s him to cancel the check after I deposited it the same day.

That BLOWS.

Hope you have better luck with the deposit check, but i wouldn't count on it.
I had a renter do that to me. bailed after a week, and canceled both his rent check and damage deposit check after i had already deposited them and they had supposedly "cleared" my account, bank took the money right back out and charged me a fee as well!

Never take a check as a deposit, its worthless.

His old lady must have found out!  Wish you lived closer, there's a couple of car shows here that get some well heeled people from Denver that I bet would snatch it up.  It is a beautiful car!

I dunno, never thought about it (having/building another GTO...I really like the '64s). Some Boeing manager in Everett just emailed me tonight wanting to view the car, I wonder if anyone here knows him...

Thank you.  It will pop up again for sale sometime in a little while.  The seller is aware it needs some things, curious to see if he catches it all...I estimate around $6k in parts and labor with him putting Rallye II wheels and tires on it.

Pacific Classics bought it.  I saw he put the Rallye II wheels and tires on the next day...and it looks weird to me.
