Big Block Chevy Engine Parts--- Race or Street/Strip

1 - 454 engine block .030" over bore, #361959 casting, 4 bolt maimid to late 70s vintage(can check date code if interested).  Mike Parker had this machined by a friend, $1,300 worth of work done.  Cam bearings and oil filter adapter installed as well as 2 oil line adapter fittings on driver side.  Needs freeze plugs installed(brass plug kit shown in pic and included) and NPT screw in plugs installed.  Just cleaned.

1 pair - Big Block Chevy Canfield 310cc runner aluminum heads.  BRAND NEW, HAVE NEVER BEEN RUN OR INSTALLED.  Recently cut(by Darryl) and blended backside(by myself) valve seats, valve guides honed to fit(by Darryl).  Comes with correct for the heads 2.25" diameter SS intake valves +.100" longer, 1.88" diameter Milodon +.100" longer SS exhaust valves.  ARP rocker studs and Manley pushrod guide plates.  Have 3 bags of chomemoly pushrods, may or may not be correct for the application.

1 set of 8 - Truck/thumb rods, need reconditioned and new bolts.

1 set of 8 - L2268 +.030" forged pistons for a 427/433ci application, in good shape.

1 - 396/427ci #6223 forged steel crankshaft.

1 - ATI internal balance application 7" harmonic balancer.

1 - (not currently pictured) Ram internal balance application billet steel flywheel.

1 - (not currently pictured) Ram #470 drag racing sintered iron clutch disc(non-sprung hub) and pressure plate with approx 20 runs on it per Darren when I got it from him, new-unopened throwout bearing, shim and stud kits.

1 - Cloyes very light use double roller timing set with roller torrington bearing on the rear.  Billet steel cam gear #3510APX and chain, crank gear is black oxide steel #31108 with up to 8* advance and 6* retard.

1 set - Moroso BBC oil pan bolts, new unopened.

1 - former Bob West XR286 on a 107 ICL Comp camshaft with lock plate.  Billet steel core.

 

Want to sell all as I'm going to put the 6.0L in the Camaro and have no chassis to put this in.  Trying not to list/sell each piece separately. Total package $3,500

Willing to separate the pistons/crank/rods/balancer and the flywheel/clutch kit or a combination of both.

Sounds tempting but I would only be interested in the block, heads (valves, push rods...), t-chain and rods. I would go for more cubes. But nice package.

Jason, I would consider that sale. The heads really do need more cubes which is why I will separate the 427 stuff....planned to do more cubes myself recently if I did do anything.

Clutch disc is 18 spline Chrysler, 10.5" diameter.

Bump. All parts listed still available.

Willing to separate the block and heads combo with associated parts(timing chain, pushrods, studs/guideplates and valves) for $2,500.

Bump.  Just lightly cleaned and polished the crank this afternoon after work...was machined in 2010.

Block, heads and associated hardware have been SOLD!

Still available are the flywheel, 427 pistons, camshaft, ATI damper, and complete clutch setup.

I still have the Ram racing clutch setup if you know anyone getting ready for race season. Reminder that it's an 18 spline 10.5" unit with studs, shim washers and nuts.
