Several elcaminos, but never a chevelle. Could never afford one.

I am so frikin stoked right now. Hasn't completely soaked in yet. Probably won't until I can get my garage cleared out and bring it home. Suddenly my remodel project completion motivation is through the roof.

Wrong guy...that was Brett. I had a thing for the Centerline Telestars.  Wheels & tires & interior & body are way down the priority list.

I need to be able to do burnouts.

I'd 330 that while you build a 496. Why not? More fun to drive slow than to look at it parked.

Watch out, you are gonna get pelted with tomatoes!

I have put out some feelers to try and locate the pulleys and brackets and frame mounts need to use it... gonna depend on the cost, but it's definitely a possibility.(ducks)

..though building something else would be a priority as I well know the 330 was not burnout capable... I still have that 'Worst Burnout' trophy from Hoss's bbq back in 2012

I'll always have a soft spot for telstars, but I have something else in mind for this car.
I don't know what they are called, but they are the larger version of the old AR TQ-A's where they have the pointed spokes instead of the "D" style. I think a few companies make their own versions. Thinking 17's and 18's. See attached pic.

But thats way down the road after it can do burnouts and is a more pleasant shade of primer.

Down the road I'm leaning toward a gunmetal/silver as the final color... lighter than my 68 elcamino was, darker than the factory silver.

I'll rock the existing weld's until then. I will have to locate a set of 15x8's for the front and loose the skinnies.

Nothing like starting a new project. Looking forward to seeing updates!

Oh. And the 330 and those sandals go together really well. I say go for it.

Ok, its been long enough, stop fucking around!  Why isn't there a motor in it yet and the burn out vid?  BTW, if Loader shows up with Darryl, Mike, and a bottle of Jameson you're on your own!!!!

found some pics from the 2011 april bbq when this car laid down some awesome stripes in front of DBs
Anyone have any better pics from that event showing this car before they put the primer & green two tone on it?

I do remember looking at it now, but didn't recognize it with Foose on meth paint job.

The same BBQ where your Elky got owned by a soccer Mom in a Volvo station wagon?
