Had a good weekend despite my stupidity in not realizing the announcer was calling non-electronics to the lanes instead of Pro, I missed out on elims Saturday. The car did run much more consistent with the new distributor though and with a long cool down and a little more timing, I finally got into the 10's with a 10.88 that late afternoon followed with a 10.89. Berg was crushing people all day and went to the semi's only then loosing by a couple hundred thou. Craig was killing it too, only missing the Car Club Challenge championship by four points! (Congrats on a great year Craig, runner-up for season high points is something to be proud of!) I took my new trailer and set my cot inside for the night so I could hang out with the boys, might have been a long night and slightly rough morning, far from a "Kevin dumpster nap" morning😏, but rough none the less. With only one test hit Sunday morning due to the weather report and them wanting to get the day over with quickly, I ran 10.92, dialed 10.91 and broke out 10.89

Going to make a few changes this winter, I might run in Oct if my schedule and the weather permits, but that will end this combo that has been in the car since feb. 1999!!! I look forward to running more often next year and planning at least one "travel" race. Then there's the GTO......

Can't thank Berg enough, and others that have come by to offer support. Hard work is what makes it all possible, but the friendships makes it worth doing! I have felt comfortable in the car, but having good people there for support certainly made for more confidence.

Let me know if you are going in October.
I was wanting to run this last weekend but everybody around here was doing other things.
Pat said I can leave his motor in the car and run it, until I get another one built.
Running 12.40's is better than sitting at home want 11.40's.

I finished 13th out of a 34 car field in the stick shift class at Bandimere.  Happy to be at least in the top 50%.
