I'd be drinking some baking soda in water on a daily basis. It couldn't hurt!

Hang in there Dave! Hope all goes well! Hit this thing full throttle and you can burn through it like you did that set of tires in the burnout comp!

Well, the biopsies came back as malignant. So, I will be seeing an Oncologist/endocrinologist as soon as they can fit me in for an appointment.

Life just keeps looking up.

Funny thing is that I really don't think about it too much, I got other issue's I'm dealing with that are more mentally disturbing then cancer.

Looks like the 26th for the radiation therapy.

Hopefully in a few months things will have worked themselves out, and I can finally relax and work on putting my brain back together. For 2 years now I have been living a nightmare I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

Thanks for the good words, they help a lot.

Dave

Best wishes with all of it, I'm sure there are too many details personal or otherwise to put down anywhere.

Thank You, it's just a really long, involved situation that some day in person I may tell. But for now, I'm not going into it. I'm still happily married, that is OK.

Well, I have been keeping this low profile due to the time of the year, but now I can let this out.

My 12 month TGH readings were to high, and the Ultrasound picked up some unwanted remnants of the Thyroid tissue left behind. Did another round of Iodine 131 and another scan with the Thyrogen injections. My TGH counts are high, but fall within the acceptable limits, and the scan showed that the PTC had not gone rogue and moved to other parts of My body. We have elected to wait six more months before any more testing to avoid too much radiation at a time. If the counts are high, we will do a PET scan with possible Thyroid ablation, or Iodine 131 ablation at that time.

SO GOOD NEWS, GOOD ENOUGH FOR NOW.
