Rod Run Long Beach - who's going?

It's that time again...  I am driving my 66 to Long Beach this year, it will be my longest road trip so I hope I don't have any trouble.   Just wondering if any of you guys are going this year?  If so, wave as you pass by! That is, unless I am off the side of the road and then please stop to help

Tog talks about this every year. I'd like to drive a car but will have to look at the schedule.

Used to be a lot more fun! I'm from Astoria, so we would always run over there. First time I ever went was like 1991!  It was either the 7th or 8th Rod Run.  Had a crew of like 6 or 7 cars.  Salmon and crab feed for the entrants. Little too crowded of a mess anymore, but I'm usually down there and will run over with my brother to check-out some of the cars cruising and go have a few barley pops at the LBT.

I was hoping I could go this year but I’ll be in Hawaii for work. Worse places to be I guess.

If it’s dry here in the morning, I’ll be headed down with TOG for the day.

just got home. ended up pulling into long beach Saturday evening and getting to finally cruise in a chevelle down main street.... camped for the night bummed around today and came home. had to buy a battery and something is up with my electric fans, one of them is shorted to constant power. in pretty sure this is probably the longest trip this car has been on in over 20yrs. other than that the car drove great and me and the missus had a great time. it was really nice seeing really nice cars and getting ideas for my build, just a cool experience all around.
