New recruit from TC.

Met 66SSfan through TC at Bremerton Raceway last Friday doing test passes on the revised old motor.

He and kettbo referred me here for local TC members.

I'm not a Chevelle owner but do have a Kissin Cousin.

It's a '65 Pontiac Lemans with a 468 BBC.

Testing went well all things considered.

First pass was a 12.65 spinning and shaking out of the hole and screwed up the 2-3 shift. ( first pass after 15 years )

To make a long story short.

Started at 18psi in the slicks and chickened out at 15psi on the air pressure and couldn't get it to hook. ( no rim screws )

But got better 60's and ET's with each psi drop

With the last pass at 11.43 @ 117mph still spinning.

Thank you.

Yes, I did.

How old are the slicks? that could be the biggest part of your spinning.

He's on the right path looking into and ARB. The car squats decent on the launch, but body rolls a ton. I've tried a few times to post a short slow mo video but cannot seem to link it properly from photobucket, but she's spinning hard. It was also a cold track with minimal Friday night prep.

Welcome, I don't have a Chevelle either, but my first car was a 67 GTO, should have kept it!
