If that's the same kit I have(the '79 El Dorado style), I had to have the brackets machined thinner where they bolt onto the axle flange.  Ray bought and used the same kit but I don't think he had that problem for some reason.  My rear is an aftermarket Strange S60 though...but stock width.

I had to have some machined off of the brackets I used as well. I'm wondering if I can use my brackets, with the Eldorado calipers, and the rest from a Right Stuff parts kit.

Got the body back on the frame.  I have a rolling car again!  I had to leave the stock axles in, and take the calipers off the back.  But at least it's rolling, even if I have some issues to work out.  I got it back home this afternoon.

Awesome :)  I remember doing that, but you did it a lot less redneck than I did(1 engine hoist and 1 backhoe).

Looks really nice. Now you can wrench on it and see light at end of tunnel.

Yes!  You could take a look at my seats too.  I have all the stuff now.  So whenever I make it to the top of your list I am ready.

I'm usually home by 6. Some days earlier, some days a little later. I'm pretty flexible as long as I don't have any set appointments.

This showed up at the house tonight.  I probably won't have much time to work on it this week.  And I need to change out the oil pan.  But I'm hoping to drop it in next week.

I made a little progress lately. I was going to try and get the engine/tranny in last weekend. Until i realized Friday night I didn't have the right clutch fork. So i got a few more parts on the car instead. Starting to look like a car again.
