Any recommendations for a good machine shop that doesn't have a big back log?

Need to get a block bored and crank done.

Trying to get an engine built for an old Bonneville racer before cancer finishes him off.

I'm in Bremerton, but am willing to travel for a good machinist.

Ewing Racing Engines in Elma does awesome work. He may be moving a bit slow right now as he has a busted leg and a cracked rib lol Might be worth giving him a call though. I've got a shortblock he put together waiting to be finished for the wife's Nova currently.

DG Machine in Auburn has done race engines for some people I know and they run good.
One is a 512 CID BB Mopar in a 68 Dodge Dart that runs 10.0s
