Wow!!!! Nicely done ben!

The barrel tach was in 68 and they are available repop- for $$ but kind of a novelty.

What ben has is a non-correct, but original appearing aftermarket tach setup (with guages) that goes in place of the clock. and IMO looks much better than the barrel tach which was really just a novelty item anyway.

Bucket seat mounts and shifter hump are in. Also got the arm rest bases painted and I recovered the pads. Painted the dash and the rest of the blue interior plastic pieces as well.

Carpet is in, just a couple more final cuts. Kick panels and dash pad are in. I recovered the door and rear panels and rears are installed. I took my seat belt buckles apart and cleaned them all up, then dyed the belts black, kinda turned out navy but they will work for now. Dash is back assembled but not installed yet. And I’m almost done refinishing my steering wheel. Maybe another week or so and interior will be done. Going to check on my engine machining progress tomorrow.

It’s looking like it; maybe someday the exterior will match.

Nice! What did you use to attach the new door cards to your old metal top panels? Rivits?

if you haven't done the fronts yet, can you take a pic that shows the fabric or foam layer that goes between the vinyl & the metal top rail?

Fronts are done. I attached a pic of the padding. It’s like a 1/8” thick or so batting material. Used rivets to attatch the panel to the metal top with washers on cardboard side.

Refinished a steering wheel I had. I think it turned out well. Had a lot of small cracks, especially where the hoop meets the bars going to center.  Used PC7 epoxy to fill cracks, then modelers filler for final smoothing. Almost done with the interior.
