I've been very inactive for a while now. The last little bit was when I got the Duster. Well, now that I'm done with the personal stuff that was occupying my time and have more time, the Duster may be up on the chopping block.

The thought would be to rip the engine/trans out and use some of the funds to get the car squared away at Bates. Then use whatever is left to put a cage in it.

On the other hand, a fat tire Duster is pretty badass and it came with some damned good parts.  I just wouldn't be able to get to it for a longgggggg time.

I think the decision will be pretty biased around here, but figured I'd ask anyway.

We do things because we think they are cool. Otherwise its pointless unless its a job. You'll be driving sooner in the Chevy. I have a buddy with two 69 dusters one for drag one for pro touring. Dragster is fuckin awesome w/ 555 hemi and I've driven the feather duster, its red/black 360ci 4speed car. Definitely cooler choice if the $ is right.

So I randomly posted the Duster as trade bait for another running/driving Nova. A completely different guy asked me about it and actually came to take a look at it. He brought a buddy of his back a second time.

Long story short, his buddy's Dad built the car back in 1982 and we're trying to work a deal to get it back to him. Small, small world. I think it'd be awesome to get it back to the original owner though!
