Last weekend for the season at Bremerton is Oct. 6th-7th-and 8th.

Anyone planning to run any of those dates?

I'm going Friday night and probably Saturday also.

Is Sunday a TnT day too? Not scheduled as such. Just a Battle of the Brands and something else. Wouldn't mind cruising the Cat out to stretch her legs a bit and try out the red key.

Just found out a bunch of my Elma peeps are going to be there Sunday so I'll be there regardless of racing or not.

Changed the front springs out, so Friday will be nothing but testing changes.
Sunday might be the better day, with Saturday being a points race.

The original springs were 315 lbs. per inch with 2 coils cut to get ride height.
Being so short and stiff I don't think they were helping to much.
I installed 64 Buick 6 cylinder 251 lbs. per inch springs for more stored energy, and hopefully better weight transfer.

Anybody have an XL helmet I could borrow? Or just let me tech with it? My helmet is long expired but once I'm out of tech I can use it. Just need something to get me past tech. Hell, I may not even need it on street tires but I just want to be safe in case the tech guy gets a stick up his ass.

I think the rule is no riders, and helmet required faster than 13.99. ( Mike should know )
It's the last race of the season, play dumb.
Last year Bill let me slide with belts 2 years out of date, when I forgot to install the new ones during the rush of getting the car together.

Yes, 13.99 and faster. I'm bringing out my new-to-me Hellcat. No playing dumb with a factory 700hp car unfortunately lol I just need to get through tech and I can use my old helmet. Or see if they'll let me run with my expired one through tech since I'm not going to hook up at all.

I couldn't wait for the track and grabbed the red key today. Needless to say the black key will be going in the safe permanently.

Allowable engine performance based on key. No key is slow, but helps you control how much power the driver has. Maybe valet or your 16 year old son.

We are entertaining the thought of coming out Sunday. Chad, my helmet expires this year but I could bring it.

Yes,  the red key gives access to the full 707hp. The black key limits it to 'only' 500hp. There is also an actual valet mode that completely restricts performance. It's rated at 300hp and a 4k rev limiter.  With the auto,  it has a first gear lock option.  The manual has all 6 gears available. Some people drive around in valet mode when they're just putting around town running errands in their manual Hellcats.

Mike,  if you come out that'd be awesome. This was a very last minute thing so no time to order in a new one before Sunday.

I don't think I'd trust it to a valet under any mode.
