Its a 1977. Not much love for that generation. No engine or trans, or seats (swivel) suppose to have a posi and some newer suspension and brakes. Was a DD not that long ago.

Just have a tough time with that year. Was thinking I'd flip it but hate to get stuck with it. Not like SBC are dime a dozen anymore.

Thinking I should pass. What do you think?

Posi rear might be worth a spare to have on hand, if nothing else it might bring $2-300 in scrap if it’s worth your time. Has to be one of the ugliest vehicles ever.

Unless you can get past big ugly bumpers and a face nobody loves, I'd pass. The rear is different, the angles for the mounts are wrong for a '64-'72 A-body, not sure anyone makes brackets to adapt(I know someone did to put a '65-'72 12 bolt in that generation chassis but not the other way around).

Ben ,nope red oxide primer. I looked it over and it would need a complete interior make over to be suitable for my taste. Although it does have a dash topper. Too bad his redone swivels seats don't come with it. Overall its not a bad project just lots of work, too much for me as I am still saving for my 67 442.
He is the type of guy who does brakes just to be sure its safe and rebuild the suspension before most guy would. Cosmetics lag behind. :) Just like some of us.
I foolishly thought it could be a father/son project but I have to be realistic my kid is into rock climbing, school, work, girlfriend. Can hardly get him to work in the shop now.
I'm 99% sure I'll pass.

Don't really remember... but that car was a tank. All of us could have stood on that hood and it wouldnt' have bent.

There is a 77 (stacked headlights) in kirkland- two tone blue, looks just like mine was, its been for sale on and off for several years.
One of these years I may scoop it up. I know everyone things they are fugly, but i think they can be cool if they have the right wheels and tires on them to fill out those huge wheel wells.
