Are any of you guys going to the Pacific NW Nationals show this year or to the Friday night drags associated with the show? I have never been and am looking for any first timer advice I can get about where to park, what happens when, cool stuff to do, etc..  I watched some prior year videos online and saw nice nice Chevelles have attended. If you are going, maybe we can do a roll call on this thread and include a pic of your ride so we can recognize TCNW members at the event.

I think some here have attended the Friday night drags, but I’ve never been. It’s the same weekend as the hydroplane race in Tri-Cities.

I've attended the drags and the show, entered the show 2 years in a row with the GTO before it sold(never with the Chevelle), have never run in the drags.

The drags are fun to see, get there early.  The show, get there early especially on Saturday.  Park wherever you can in the best spot(seriously).

I'm planning on being there with my '67 Chevelle this year - probably just Friday and Saturday.  Previously I've only attended as an observer.  Best guidance is get there early and try to find shade...  I don't think I'll make it to the Friday night drags.

I usually only go to the drags. I made it to the finals last year and they ran out of time to finish which is normal for them. There is usually a summit series points race that weekend so I never make it to the fairgrounds.

Be sure to check out the Thursday shop tours. I think schedules will pop up usually on the HAMB website and/or the Goodguys website.
I usually check on cruising Puyallup Saturday night but its hit or miss depending on "politics"

Hi Ben - found this site from the Chevelles.net site.

Here's a link to the video when I first got the car running last September.

You need to go. Go Saturday morning while the judging is going on and before the idiot's show up. Leave by 1300.

Hey guys, I am hitting the road tomorrow and heading North to Puyallup for the show and a nice long weekend getaway.  I hope to see plenty of Chevelles there. Say hello if you see my black 66.  This will be the longest road trip yet for the 66, 300 miles round trip.  Hopefully I can pass a few gas stations on the way.. :)

I have ONE.....parking spot at the Edelbrock event trailer on Friday. If you want it, I'd suggest getting there early. At some point in the day, someone will ask if they can have it and we usually give it. I've begged for years to get an a-body in there! Bonus points if you have any Edelbrock parts on the car.

Saturday is already spoken for. Sunday is usually wide open.

Stop by and ask for Brian. I'll be there all weekend.....

I really want to put my car there with the Lq4, would be a perfect candidate for an e-force Supercharger

Thanks so much for the offer on the spot by the trailer but I will probably find a nice shade tree to hide under for the day. I plan to hang by my car with my daughter and the trailer spot makes it feel less relaxed. I may stop by and say hi anyhow.

Maybe next year I can plan ahead(a.k.a. not moving the same month with an infant) with the Chevy and Brandon will be walking.  I liked the spot by the trailer with the GTO, it seemed safer to me.  We're going to go Saturday morning.

I made it on Friday.  I love this show with the great variety of cars, builds, etc.  I found a good parking spot in the shade which was a blessing.  Attached are a few pics of A-bodies.

Notables:

- Twin turbo '67

- '65 with the 468 BB w/cowl air cleaner
