Holy shit!  Nasty accident around Dupont, used to pass that way almost everyday when I lived in Tumwater.

Crazy pics on fb, a friend of mine had just drove under when it fell. She commented it missed her ride share van by a couple feet!

I don’t know much about it, but it was kinda a controversial decision to re route this train across JBLM in the first place. This morning was the very first time it’s ran this route with passengers.

My father in law is what they call a foamer (train nut) he worked for the RR when he was 16 till 30 something? He and his best bud talked about riding that trip but he has issues getting up early (medical and 70 something) they didn't do it but a couple of there foamer (Google it) friends did. One is o.k. the other was in surgery last I heard.
Real bummer!

Just as I hit "post" my wife walked in and said her dads friend broke 13 bones in the train wreck at 70 something. Yikes
One of my FB friends who runs the Moclips museum lost a family member on the wreck. :(
