For those of you with 2 post lifts, what separation measurement did you use? my garage is only 20' wide, so space is at a premium. The lift I bought is the Dannmar Maxjax mid lift 2 post, so one post can be moved out of the center.

Hey Mike,

I just watch a video on that lift, and wow it is cool.

HAHA, I have my fingers crossed. Getting too old to keep rolling on the ground.

I guess it depends on the arm dimensions but I would probably put it as wide as possible to allow opening doors. I'm running a bendpak 10k narrow configuration because I am also limited on space. I'll have to find the specs or measure it. This is what your lift shows. Again I would go as wide as space allows, but with enough room to go around the outside if needed.
C - Width (Outside of Base Plate): 105" - 125" / 2667 mm. - 3175 mm.

I'm hoping that I can put it up, and leave enough room that I do not have to dismantle it for every use. It is advertised to be able to do that though.

935# for a half lift good grief, wrestled with it today, and got it assembled. The exact location is still being plotted out, but the full lift height, and calculated height for the car is at the same dimension as my load bearing beam. I may make a hard stop, so the lift wont max out.
